“105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules. 107 I am severely afflicted; give me life, O Lord, according to your word!” (Psalm 119:105–107, ESV)
We’re all afflicted with something, or another, seemingly everyday sometimes. Rather it’s just the everyday hardships of life, or struggling to keep our promises to ourselves or to God.
Sometimes we feel lost. Sometimes we feel distressed. Sometimes we feel scared. Sometimes we feel weak.
These verses remind me that God will light the way in those tough times.
Along the way, we will struggle to keep his righteous rules… that’s just part of the growth and journey. But if we immerse ourselves in His word and teachings, we can fill our lives with the Holy Spirit and walk with faith rather than fear.

Reflect:
• God has your back! What’re you struggling with right now that you need his light to lead you through?
• Even a lot of atheists pray when they need something. How often do you pray without having an “ask” or “supplication”?
• How “active” are you working on PROGRESSING towards a righteous life according to Gods word?
Today’s Focus:
Swap your phone for your Bible. Spend 30min today reading a chapter and diving into a verse that pops out to you.
🙏 Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for guiding me when times are tough and I’m unsure of where the path unfolds before me. It’s your light that brightens the way and sends comfort until the seas settle. I ask that you continue to guide me, and all your children, along our journeys. May we all find the strength to live life’s according to your word. Amen.
