Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28, ESV)
In those times of hardship, or when we’re carrying a heavy load with us, our Lord reminds us to find comfort in Him.
He will give us rest. He will lighten the load. He will take us by our hand and guide us through the darkness. If you let Him.
Just as this verse begins, our journey with Christ begins, when we ‘come to Him’.
Many times we can find ourselves trying to push through our hard times with grunt-force. We need to remember the famous saying “Let Go and Let God”, or, “Jesus take the wheel”, if you will.

Today’s Focus:
- End the week reflecting, resting, and recharging in God’s presence.
- Trust in Gods presence in your life.
Prayer 🙏
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the times of rest between the madness of work and the chaos of the day-to-day monotony. Thank you for giving me the strength to tackle any tasks that I encounter. Please continue reminding me to rest while trusting you will help me carry the heavy loads without doing it all by myself. Thank you for maintaining presence and presents in my life. Amen.
