Day 6 — “Strength in the Struggle”

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. (James 1:2–3, ESV)

God will test us and put us through “trials of various kinds”.

I look forward to, and praise, the trials given to me because I know there’s growth in the grotesque times. God is with us as we grow through them. Be joyous when you meet those hardships, and stay aware that they are present in your life to be a PRESENT in your life!

Hard times create strong men.

God knows what he’s doing. Trust the process. Trust in God.

The trials will create steadfastness in you.

Today’s Focus:

  • Redefine “hard times” as spiritual gym sessions, or “spiritual reps”.
  • Remember that trials are meant to test and shape us.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Gracious God, I ask that you look over me as I endure and persevere through the trials and tribulations you’ve set before me. I know they’re only present in my life because you’re ready for me to continue my growth and continue to become a stronger, better, person, to be a good representative of Your Word and teachings. Thank you for never leaving my side and always watching over me, even while testing my faith, and even in those times I wavered. May today be another day of growth and guidance. Amen.
